Montreal Canadiens- Part 1

Alex Kovalev -9G-7A-16PTS

Pure talent and if anyone doubt it shame on you. Kovalev has silence any possible trade rumors goings around about him. With a team leading 16 points this season, and 5 powerplay goals, he is slowly returning to the player he once was, an elite player.

Andrei Markov- 6G-9A-15PTS
This defencemen has been no surprise this season, playing like the same player his been for the last few years. After returning from Russia where he played during the lockout it seems as if Markov has seen new light, a much brighter light! With 4 powerplay and 1 shorthanded goal already it seems as thought Markov is off to a career high season.
Saku Koivu- 4G-11A- 15PTS
The Canadiens Captian is playing his usual power forward style, is off to a little bit of a slow start but with last season career high of 75 points since joining the NHL with the Canadiens in 1995. With 3 powerplay goals Koivu should have no trouble keeping his point total up this season.

Chris Higgins- 6G-5A-11PTS
Higgins was off to a great start with 11 Pts in the first 13 games of the season, but has been held pointless in the last few games, if he can stay consistent then this Left winger could be a big point producer for Montreal this season.

Tomas Plekanec- 5G- 10A- 15 PTS
To say the lest Plakenec is off to about a 55 pts season, with six multi-point games already and many more to come. This young player has yet to reach his full potential but his climbing the ladder quick enough to play the powerplay and put the puck in the net.

Steve Begin- 1G-1A-2PTS
Begin has never been a big goal scorer or the best playmaker but he is a pressure player, one that brings intensty to the table and lets his presence be known on the ice. He'd be lucky if he plays 60 games this season and get 20 points but thats not what he's there for.

Tomas Plekanec
